Picture myself four years from now. What do I have expected to learn from my years in college?

Four years from now seems like a long way away however it’s just around the corner.  A lot can happen within four years that can change my career path and life as a whole.  While in college you could make fatal decisions that could affect you for the rest of your life.  However during this time span I believe I will have learned how to fight adversity, have broadened my knowledge of the many different types of people there are in the world, and most importantly how to become an owner of a business.
I believe I can use my time in college as a tool to learn how to fight through adversity later in my life.  There are many obstacles that I will have to push through during my time at college in order to graduate.  These could include anything from getting up for an eight o’clock class to walking through inclimate weather to get to class. I have to be able to jump these hurdles in order to graduate.  Being able to fight through adversity I am sure is a quality that I will need to show when I am trying to get my first job after college.
Four years into the future, I also expect to have broadened my knowledge of different types of people there are in the world. I have the opportunity to be living with roommates from different counties, states, and even countries during my time in college.  Sharing a dorm with these different types of people, will teach me how people other than me live and how I can cooperate with them.  As stated before this can be a quality that can be used while trying to get into the workforce after college.
Finally, throughout my four years of college I expect to have learned how to become a savvy business owner.  I want to major in business, so hopefully the classes that I will have to take will prepare me best to become a great business owner. I have already learned the basics of becoming a business owner in my first semester of eight, but I hope to have learned so much throughout my years of college.

Do You Want To Change Your Major After This Semester?

I feel I have made the correct decision when I was determining my major.  Even throughout the semester I never once thought about changing my major. The business field gives me so many jobs to choose from. From accounting to management to finances, the options endless of what you can do with a business degree.  However, for myself, I chose to get involved with the business field because I can get in the law school with a business degree.  Getting into law school is important to me because I want to become a sports attorney.  Now even if later in my life I don't want to pursue the law route I will have other options to fall back on.

I also don't have any interest in changing my major because I don't believe the others fit me personally.  I love to make money, therefore i believe the business field is a good fit for me. Not just to make money but I love handling money and determining the best ways to make more.

The Hardest Learning Outcome

The hardest learning outcome for me would probably be the one about generating, revising, editing, and proofreading.  I have never been the best proofreader of my work.  I usually get others to read my work and give me feedback on what I should do a little bit differently. This was usually successful, however there are many other ways to proofread my papers.

For example, you could do some revising.  Revising is when your determining if you have the right angle, purpose, subject, or something of that nature.  Another technique you could do is substantive editing. This involves changing the content.  Maybe rearranging some sentences to make the writing piece flow better and make sense.  You could also do some copy editing, which involves review the story for clarity and persuasiveness.  Finally, you could proofread the article.  This is what most of us are used to doing to our writing works.  This involves looking for surface error like grammar, spelling, and word usage.

Ways To Find Information For A College Assignment

One way you could info is by going to the library.  Your local library usually has something that pertains to your topic.  This method may take some effort becasue the information doesnt just appear before your eyes at that instant. However you can be assured that the information you find there is reliable.

Another way to get information for a college assignment is by going to the internet.  This is the usual way of obtaining information because it is the quickest and mosty acessable.  The internet also has flaws that you may want to take into consideration.  The internet has a large amount of information for example wikipedia. Wikipedia, a search infromation engine, is a website that can be edited by anyone.

My last option of how to obtain information is just by asking a person who has some expierence or expertise in that area.  By asking people who have done the assignment you can get their opinion and hopefully they will give you tips and tricks to make the assignment as easy as possible.

My Favorite Basketball Team

My favorite basketball team is the LA Lakers.  I have always liked them since I was six years old when I first began to play basketball.  There are many reasons why I love the Lakers. One, I love the colors of their jerseys which are purple and gold.  These colors are probably my favorite combination of colors if I had to choose. another reason I like the Lakers is because of the prestigious history they have.  All throughout the years they have been a championship contender or somewhere near the top of the standings of the NBA.

My last and most important reason for why I love the Lakers is because my favorite player, Kobe Bryant, is the star player on the team.  Kobe is one of the greatest shooting guards ever to play the game of basketball.  He can do whatever you need him to do on the court.  Kobe can score, assist, rebound, get steals, or just to name a few of his many talents.  However you had to narrow down one aspect of his game that everyone seems to admire is his ability to stay so calm under pressure.  You usually notice how calm he is when the game is on the line and he consistently hits last second, game winning baskets.

Remember The Titans Movie Review

My favorite movie is called Remember The Titans. The theme of this movie was that teamwork can overcome all obstacles. The movie's setting takes place in the 1970's in the state of Virginia.  The movie shows one black school and one white school  being forced to integrate under federal mandate.  The segregation spews over to the two football teams that now must play together.  You see the players on both teams show passionate hate for one each other, especially when the head coach of the black school becomes the head coach of the new team even though the head coach of the white team was more successful.

Before the season starts the team goes to a two week mini camp which make the team come together and start to stick up for each other and help each other out. As the season begins and the team begins to win consistently, now the community starts to follow the new desegregated team's lead when it comes to no more racist feelings between whites and blacks.  In the end the team finishes undefeated but more importantly moves past the age of segregation.
