My Family And Friends

If there are people who I would do anything for at anytime of the day, they would be my family and friends. These people mean the world to me.  Anytime I have ever have an opporitunity to go home I do because I miss them so much.  No matter where I am at the moment, when I am with my family I feel that sense that I am at home.  Just hearing the pokemon theme song makes me think of my little brother.  He plays pokemon like his life depended on it.  He loves playing all games but pokemon is by far his favorite.  I always go to him for advice of what game I should get next. 

Unlike most kids my age I never wanted to get out of the house because I didnt like my parents. I got out of the house because it was wise move in my development of becoming independent.  However, I constantly ask my parents for advice and what I could do to improve myself.

How to argue

When you find yourself in a heated discussion, there are many ways to go about this. However, I believe the best tactic is to persuade your opponent.  To persuade,  you must to sway another induviduals towards your beliefs or ideas by appealing to reason and undestanding.  It takes skill in order to convince someone to see your point of view while each person is only seeing their point of view.

One reason I would prefer to persuade a person is because to me persuading is the least confrontational form of arguing. In order to get the best results, you would calmly propose your idea and the facts that support the idea. Then in return for the opposition listening to your proposal, you listen to their ideas and facts without interruption even you if you believe they are completely mistaken. Just hear them out.  Now the trick is to find something they can relate to while proposing your ideas and this will sway them towards your thinking so much more easily.

My House In Connemara

I live in a fairly large subdivision called Connemara. However, in my opinion my house is the best house in the neighborhood.  Of course I'm a little bias, but I have legitimate reasons of why my house is hands down the best in the neighborhood.  First, my house has a gigantic front yard.  This comes in handy when my dad, my brother, and I want to bond by throwing the football or play baseball.  The only bad aspect of having a big yard is that the person that must cut the yard spends more time than cutting a regular sized lawn.

The inside of my house consists of two floors, three bathrooms and five bedrooms.  Most of the time I am in one of the extra bedrooms because they are where I keep my video games and school work.  Nevertheless, you will never find in one room for long because of all the activities inside the house.  For example, we have two wide screen tv's with surround sound, a basketball goal, large patio, and last but not least great interior designing.
